Perfectos Caffé may be small in size, but according to Andrea Gabriello, it houses one big happy family. Tucked in the corner of Oakdale Plaza in Tewksbury, this European-style coffee shop is bursting with flavor, and a following.

"Some people come back two or three times a day," says Gabriello. "I know everyone's coffee, what they eat, and where they work. What keeps these coffee fanatics faithful? Thirty different flavors, fresh food, and fresh air.

Andrea and Max Gabriello started experimenting with muffins at home, when the recipe was perfected they opened their first café in Andover. It wasn't long before the customers wanted more from the Gabriello brother's, so they added sandwiches and salads to the menu; the only thing missing - outside seating. When the opportunity presented itself in Tewksbury, Gabriello couldn't pass it up.

"Everyone loves to sit outside in the nice weather. People come by for a coffee while they're shopping and relax for a minute," he says.

Coffee bins filled with 30 different flavored beans line the wall behind the counter, serving seven different flavors of hot coffee daily, and 10 different flavors of the juice in the rocks. "We sell more iced coffee at this store than any other," says Gabriello

Chill out on the patio with a Perfecto's original freezato: espresso blended with an ice cream mix topped with mocha, vanilla or caramel.

Coffee isn't the only thing Gabriello is serving up at Perfecto's. He starts everyday at 4 a.m. making muffins for the early risers. He mixes it up daily, but his signature muffin is the peppermint mocha: a mocha muffin filled with homemade peppermint frosting. The gingerbread muffin with cream cheese is another favorite. These gourmet muffins can be purchased separately, or by the dozen for $12.99. Not in the mood for a muffin? The egg sandwiches will meet the heartiest of appetites. Try the farmer's special, egg, sausage, bacon and cheese, served on a French toast bagel with maple syrup for $3.39.

The lunch menu at Perfecto's is jam-packed with wraps, sandwiches, and original salads. The tuna Waldorf wrap is a best seller with baby greens, white tuna salad, raisins, feta cheese and ranch dressing, or try the PC classic salad, romaine lettuce, mixed greens, tomatoes, onions, sprouts, and roasted peppers.

No meal is complete without the sweet. Finish it up with a Gabriello goodie: chocolate dipped pretzels; whoopee pies or fresh baked cookies. A biscotti gift-pack for $6.99 is a perfect present for that sweet someone.
